What is Olloa?
Olloa (“Goût d’ailleurs”, a taste from afar) is a premium drinks brand from Québec, founded by Les Saveurs Domu Ndack inc. Our first creation is a bissap: a rich, refreshing hibiscus drink made with hibiscus flowers, mint and lemon juice.
What is bissap?
Bissap is a traditional West African drink made with hibiscus. Its deep red colour comes from the flower. The taste is fruity, slightly tangy and sweet, with a fresh touch of mint. To learn everything: what is bissap?

Water, sugar, hibiscus flowers, mint leaves, lemon juice, natural flavour, citric acid, potassium sorbate (preservative).

What is the drink made of?
According to the Nutrition Facts table, a 500 mL bottle is mostly water and sugars (63 g of sugars out of 67 g of carbohydrate). It contains 0 g of fat, 0 mg of cholesterol, 0 g of fibre and 10 mg of sodium, as well as 225 mg of potassium (7% of the Daily Value) and 100 mg of calcium (8%). Do your drinks contain sugar?
Yes. Like traditional bissap, Olloa is sweetened: 63 g of sugars per 500 mL bottle. The label therefore carries Health Canada’s “High in sugars” symbol. It is a treat drink, like fruit juice: one 500 mL bottle is about 2 glasses.
What sugar do you use?
White sugar.
Where does the hibiscus come from?
Our hibiscus comes from West Africa.
How is Olloa made?
By steeping hibiscus flowers and mint leaves, then adding lemon juice and sugar. Made in small batches in Québec.
What size is it?
500 mL bottle.
How should I store my bottles?
Unopened: 3 months in the fridge, or 6 weeks at room temperature, away from light. After opening: refrigerate and drink within a few days. Serve well chilled, ideally over ice.
Where is Olloa made?
Olloa is made in small batches in Saint-Laurent (Montréal), in our production kitchen at 208 rue Migneron. Order pickup is at a different address: the company’s head office, Les Saveurs Domu Ndack inc., 1780 rue Décarie, Saint-Laurent (QC) H4L 3N3.
Are there any allergens?
None of Olloa’s ingredients are among the priority allergens recognized by Health Canada (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat, soy, etc.). Always check the ingredient list on the bottle. For any medical question, talk to a health professional. Olloa makes no health claims.
Olloa Passport – Founder Edition
What is the Olloa Passport?
A 12-month offer: 10 bottles of 500 mL delivered every month, 120 bottles in total. Limited edition of 25 numbered copies. Each Founder receives their passport and their numbered card (numbered 1 to 25), and a stamp every month (12 months, 12 stamps). The price is locked for 12 months.
How much does the Passport cost?
Total price: $464.99 (before tax), that is $3.87 per bottle delivered instead of $6.99 by the bottle. With Shop Pay, you can pay in installments: from about $41.97 a month over 12 months, or in 4 interest-free payments. Installment payments are offered by Affirm, subject to approval; interest may apply depending on your approval. The exact amount is shown on the product page and at checkout.
How do I pay for the Passport monthly?
On the Passport page, click “Pay monthly”, then at checkout choose Shop Pay and the installments option.
Is delivery included in the Passport?
Yes, monthly delivery is included anywhere in Québec. Free pickup at 1780 rue Décarie (Saint-Laurent) is also available.
Olloa Club (subscription)
What is the Olloa Club?
The Olloa Club is our monthly subscription, delivered once a month, with free delivery in Québec: Starter, 10 bottles for $49.99 (under $5 a bottle); Essentiel, 15 bottles for $64.99 ($4.33 a bottle); Famille, 20 bottles for $84.99 ($4.25 a bottle). Price locked for 12 months. Pause, skip a delivery or cancel any time.
Can I pause or cancel my subscription?
Yes, any time and at no cost, from your customer account: pause, skip a delivery, change plan or cancel.
Can I cancel my Passport?
Yes, within 90 days of your purchase. Full refund before the first shipment. After that, each month received counts for $83.90 (10 bottles at $6.99 + $14 shipping) and we refund the rest. After 90 days, the Passport can no longer be cancelled: your deliveries continue until the 12th month. The full table is on the Passport page. To cancel, write to contact@olloa.ca.
Prices, delivery and pickup
How much does a bottle cost?
$6.99 a bottle. The price drops automatically with quantity: $5.99 a bottle from 3, $4.99 from 5, whatever the combination (single bottles or packs). For example, two 3-Packs = 6 bottles = $29.94. See the Shop.
Is there a deposit?
Yes. Like all ready-to-drink beverages in Québec, each bottle has a $0.10 deposit. It is added to your cart automatically and is not taxed. Bring your empty bottles back to a Consignaction return location (counters at participating retailers or Consignaction depots) to get your $0.10 back.
Do you deliver everywhere?
We deliver anywhere in Québec. Standard delivery: $12, free on purchases of $49.90 or more. Express (1 to 2 business days): $20. We do not deliver outside Québec yet.
Can I pick up my order in person?
Yes, pickup is free at 1780 rue Décarie, Saint-Laurent (Montréal), every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. After you order, drop by whenever you like during those hours.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.), Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Shop Pay also lets you pay in installments.
Do you take orders for events or businesses?
Yes. For your events (wedding, christening, party, office), Olloa is ordered by the case of 12, from 3 cases: 36 bottles for $168.99, 48 for $218.99, 60 for $264.99, 72 for $308.99, 96 for $398.99, 120 for $479.99 and 180 for $699.99. Delivery included in Greater Montréal, or free pickup in Saint-Laurent; elsewhere in Québec, we confirm the cost with you before shipping.
